I was born and raised in Wyoming and moved to Idaho in 1994 when I started my schooling in Moscow at the University of Idaho, and later moved to South East Idaho in 2002. At that time I started my 15-year career at EIRMC where I was a Clinical Dietitian. I loved my job and taking care of patients by altering and maximizing their nutrition, but I wanted to be able to help them more. I applied for PA school in 2014 and started on that journey in 2015 at the University of North Dakota.

I have always had a passion for health and fitness. I played sports all through high school but struggled with reactive hypoglycemia, which led me towards a career based on nutrition and activity. I first earned my bachelor’s degree as a Dietitian and then went directly to Colorado State University to pursue my Master’s in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Nutrition. I completed all my courses, but the birth of my children prevented finishing my thesis and that degree, but all that I learned has enhanced my knowledge base and how I counsel my patients.

I am very excited to be coming on board with Dr. Vlach and her team. I have always loved the integrative approach to medical care, and I am thrilled with the vision Dr. Vlach has for her patients and how I can help support that with my nutrition expertise. With my 20 years of experience in nutrition counseling, I feel confident I can help our patients maximize the results they are seeking with their rehabilitation and care. I also have a passion for helping patients feel better with hormonal replacement and balance. There are so many health benefits we can offer with natural, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. It is my favorite treatment to offer my patients because they feel young again and amazingly vitalized for so many reasons. It is truly life changing.

In my personal life, I have a wonderful family of 2 teenage boys and 1 teenage dog. Bret and Lane are wonderful young men, athletes, and outdoorsmen. We love to play sports, camp, hike, fish, boat, and ski. Our dog Doss is a Chesapeake Bay retriever that is just over a year old now and loves to do all of these things with us. He and I run most days of the week and spend lots of time in our yard and garden. I love to cook and try new recipes for my family when indoors. I also work at the Just 4 Kids Urgent Care and love my time there helping kids with illness and injury.
